    Keyboard and Mouse stops responding

So at points the keyboard / mouse would just randomly stop and lay there dead like a lemon.

    Keyboard: Corsair K70
    Mouse: Logitech G400
    PSU: SeaSonic X-650KM3
    MoBo: Asus P8Z77-V LK

    Other USB components:
USB to micro USB for PS4 controller
    Bluetooth for bluetooth stuff.
    USB to monitor USB hub.
Plugged in phone to charge and such.
    There was an external HDD.
    Pen tablet.

At first thought that the PSU was doing something dumb, but everything else was working. HDD would be the most power consuming I imagine and that one is working.
LEDs on the keyboard are off because annoying buzzing sound.
I could still use the controller in FFXIV on both bluetooth and USB connection.

Only the keyboard and mouse goes wild. Only restarting the computer as a whole would 'fix' it. Replugging in a different USB doesn't work no matter what combination.

I'm thinking the MoBo may be on it's death bed but I can't confirm it. No capacitors that I see are bulged or anything.

Try doing mouse / keyboard tests on a LiveUSB of Ubuntu or something?
