The limited edition that got away.

Like many other limited edition collectors i'm sure you have that one limited edition that got away. My white whale is Hyperdimension Neptunia Limited Edition with the cards. I got into Hyperdimension Neptunia i think a few weeks after it was released in Europe and by then it was already way to late to get a Limited Edition but i didn't really get into the series until the third entry and by then it was almost impossible to find. I managed to track down 1 copy on Amazon only to get screwed over by their crappy shipping since i live in Sweden they wouldn't ship there.

Are you referring to the Hyperdimension MK2 collectors edition or the original game? When I got the first one I got a hardcover art book with it unless the one with the cards was an NIS site exclusive I didn't know about. I remember I got screwed over on the Mk2 one, more so from my own fault because I kind of dicked around until the last minuet to try and order it off of the NIS website and by that time it was out the stock (the one I do remember that came with a set of cards). I have a feeling pretty many people actually underestimated their stock for the game since I think right after that NIS started adding a stock meter to all of their new products coming out on their site.

I wish I had gotten the collectors edition for Segagaga on the Dreamcast. I ended up buying a standard copy only to then see a week later a special edition was also available with a bunch of neat junk. I also remember the whole fiasco with the Ni No Kuni special edition, more so since I was trying to import the US special edition which came with some extra items, which from what I heard Namco ended up not really telling people when it was first available and then ended up canceling a bunch of preorders for it.

I passed on Wrath collectors because I didn't want my parents to spend the extra money. Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Skyrim are on the if I had the money at the time list.

Ni No Kuni's Wizard Edition. I had it pre-ordered, then got my pre-order cancelled due to that shortage fiasco.
