because, as you've said, it's a special case. World firsts have nothing to do with actual raiding, it's just stacking classes that can cheese the encounter the most. Because world first guilds complete content being way undergeared, pure healing power will do you no good. everyone is just stacking way to mitigate damage, cause without it no one will survive to be healed back up.

To me Holy has an excellent toolkit that is dominated by other classes when you look at it from a logs perspective. If you search the forums, going back over the years/xpacs, you will see the general train of thought with Holy seems to go:

-Holy starts off strong but gets weaker later on as other healers scale better with gear. Holy will get better in Heroic.
-Then when heroic hits and Holy still lags behind other healers: Holy does better once it has its Tier pieces. get your 2pc/4pc and Holy will shine.
-Then when you get your Tier pieces and still find yourself behind: Holy just cant compete with the hots of druids or absorbs of Disc.

The bottom line to me is: Holy has a great set of tools for everything and are an excellent healer to bring along for a raid. However, if you want to view the healers in terms of scoring rankings, consistently pushing the meters, you wont ever find that with Holy.
