Does the FLOTUS hold any power (influence not included)? I mean, does the wife of the current president have her own legislative job inside the government or is it simply a case of "showing support for their husbands and using the influence they have on the nation to develop some agenda (agenda not in the pejorative meaning)?

Here in the old continent the spouses of contry leaders are "completely separate identities" from the leader they are wed to, continue having their previous jobs and in most cases are never involved in any matters of state, unless rare occasions like the president of a country being host to some other monarch/president and their entourage, their spouse will be there like a couple would be when hosting a dinner at home.

She just "champions" causes that she believes are important. Her big kick has been health of the nation. Which, considering the obesity rates, could use a few shots in the arm.

I just figured out how to fucking make it taste it better. Throw the butter in a pan, melt it slowly. Throw the cheese dust shit on it then throw the milk in it and stir. Then you have some awesome liquid cheese shit and it taste awesome with the noodles.

Because let me tell you, the cheese sauce I make when I want mac not only contains bacon as a garnish, but it literally uses bacon fat as the base for the roux. Now, I don't think cheese dust is something we should be actively trying to consume, but mac & cheese doesn't really have "healthy" alternatives.

Actually making an actual cheese sauce isn't much harder then that.
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black or white pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar or smoky flavor Cheddar cheese

Melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, stirring until well mixed. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth. Cook for 5 minutes longer; add cheese. Stir until smooth and well blended. Serve with pasta or vegetables.

and of course you can modify the seasonings, amount of cheese and type of cheese to taste.

What is the problem?

She is interested in promoting good eating. Of which she feels, and I agree, overly processed foods are not super awesome without moderation.

I also think boxed Mac n' Cheese is disgusting. I prefer freshly made Mac n' Cheese made in the style of traditional Southern US cooking.
