Venom Rush flickering

Hi, did anyone notice weird Venom Rush counts in logs that lead to decreased Venom Rush uptimes? I'm talking about things like, on the same fight logs for one rogue would show single digit counts, like 4 or 7 and close to 99% Venom Rush uptime, while for another rogue they would show like 500 or 2000 and 95% uptime (provided active time was >99% for both rogues).

I first noticed Venom Rush flickering on beta and posted a bug, but it behaves the same now on live. It seemed like if I had Instant Poison and Crippling both applied, it would flicker. If unclick Crippling though it would stop flickering. Doesn't seem to depend on whether Blade Flurry is on or off. Reproduces on a dummy in Orgrimmar, but not on the one in Garrison for some reason.

Maybe someone knows more details about this phenomenon?

It's a known bug with Crippling Poison on targets immune to it, so just click it off.

Thanks. I had no idea this bug was so well-known, it looks like a pretty major issue and I haven't seen it mentioned before.
