The correct British pronunciation is "shed", but I say "sked" because I'm weird.
Edit: Or because that's the Scottish way of saying it (have a Scottish family) and English pronounce it "shed."
Never heard of a shedjewel before. Always been sked for me.
Sked.
But speaking of things said differently between the US and the UK- I love how British people say "at all" as "ah-Tall" where as Americans say it more like "ad-all".
Sked unless I want to sound pretentious (which I often do).
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
Revelation 6:8
From Australia and I think I've only ever really heard it as Sked, Like School. Since I don't say Shool.
