Clarification of Naming & Shaming

How far does naming and shaming go? I know you can't name WoW characters other than your own. What about naming random people in thread titles? Some threads in OT General have names in the title and I don't even know who they are. Surely that's naming and shaming?

Depends on what/who it is an how it's done. It's generally against doing it in a negative way. Like if you were to make a thread saying the name of someone awesome you met in game and just wanted to say they were awesome that would be fine. If you think a thread might fall under the Naming & Shaming rules you can report the op and just say why in the text box or you could pm any mod or super mod a link to it and ask them.
