    Crane Stance with Chi Explosion

After the patch comes out is it worth it to even take chi explosion for heavy crane stance usage? After the crane stance nerf it's down to about 1000% spell power ratio from 1511.25% and for serpent the healing is buffed to 2286% which now outheals uplift×2. If it's not worth it we could perhaps crane stance more often to build up chi and tea and then explosion in serpent stance for small packed fights like Gruul. I feel like breath of the serpent is a must have for flamebender now though.

Yes it would still be worthwhile to talent chi explosion if you wanted to sustain heavy fistweaving, and needed the healing.

Keep in mind, you can now stance dance to serpent with chi ex, and do the heavy healing needed in serpent and switch back.

your spell power ratios are wrong:

without stance bonus and ignoring mastery:

    Serpent
    6.0 & 6.1: 2 x Uplift (2 Chi) 1980% of spellpower
    6.0: ChiEx (4 Chi) 1511% of spellpower
    6.1: ChiEx (4 Chi) 1875% of spellpower

    Crane
    6.1: ChiEx (4 Chi) 1535% of spellpower
6.1: ChiEx (4 Chi) with RSK Debuff (10%) 1591% of spellpower
    6.1: ChiEx (4 Chi) 1410% of spellpower
6.1: ChiEx (4 Chi) with RSK Debuff (20%) 1522% of spellpower

They nerfed (4 Chi) ChiEx by 33.3%. So 1511.25*.33 = ~1012.54%. It's significantly buffed by 40% in serpent stance so .4*1511.25 = 2115.75%. So unless you had a lot of spirit to sustain yourself I don't see ChiEx in serpent being that beneficial. If you did have a lot of spirit ChiEx would be significantly better in clumped up fights (or if your guild has a certain strategy where most people are stacked) as you can maintain the huge mana consumption of surging mist, expel harm, and 1 stack of renewing mist spam. But PoM would still be better for more spread out fights.
