Looking for a certain piece of Software!

    Hey there..
Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in!

Anywho, I am looking for some software I can use to record game play, voice applications and my own microphone!
I've been using Dxtory to record game play which also records any sounds from other applications (including Voice Coms).
It can record my mic into a different channel within the video so I can alter what's heard through my mic but I can't seem to figure out if there is a way to split the game play from other voice applications.
I'd like to be able to cut some voicecoms from the game play footage and I was wondering if anyone here could help me find some software which could help!

Maybe there is a setting in Dxtory and I've missed it but if not, I'd appreciate the help!

*Edit* I'm not against the idea of recording game play with a different application and using another application to record voicecoms/my mic and just syncing the files in Sony Vegas. A little more work but if I can get it working I'd be happy with it!

I just got recommended Virtual Audio Cable but it looks crazy to set up.. I'll check it out when less tired!

I use OBS. It does everything like webcams, audio, and desktop streaming. Works really well and even has a nice Android app to remotely turn it on and off. It doesn't say but it does also record to a .flv file as well. So you can Stream and record at the same time. I've seen something about audio but never looked into it.

So essentially you are just looking for a bit of software that gets to record your own voice entirely on its own with no impact from the game sounds right ?

If this is the case, you can easily run a seperate software in the background in addition to do this.

Example of this would be sony Soundforge, which lets you just hit record and just talk away what ever is coming from your microphone.

Doesn't record ingame footage (though you can set it up to do this) and the software is designed to edit audio tracks and you can sync up what you want to say really.

This can also come free with various sony home studio platinum suites.
