Guessing it appears as its original boss size.

That is why I asked. If idd it does that, I have found my raiding pet.

Well he said it happens only during Stampede, so it do doesn't really matter what pet you have active. Also, you should use the glyph that makes all your pets look like the one you have during Stampede, for extra lols, just be ready to take the flack for the wipe because the melee can't see shit.

You must have missed some of my posts around here, where I clearly state that I'll use the biggests pets for rustling jymmies. (not on progress though)

Random about pets. Nether rays have suddently lost bloodlust ability. Core hounds still have it after 6.1.... Both my main and alt hunters have a nether ray and checked both.

Are you sure you're not looking at a spore bat?(They look similar) I just checked and Nether Rays definitely still have the Netherwinds ability(the lust)

......yeah, if you have a nether ray without bloodlust, report a bug to Blizzard and get 'em to fix it.

It used to be hysteria, after patch it seems to be changed to netherwinds. Was blind that only found it today.

Also keep a quilen for brez (got all 4 of the multicolored one from the Vale), corehound for hysteria, dog for stats, devilsaur cuz I love popping his huge green ass out during stampede, and my bear cuz he was my very first pet and I never stable him, he's always one of my actives.

If you are BM, and don't mind the noise, Shale Spider is better for stats since it brings a second buff (crit) to the table at the same time. At least solo, when you don't have a raid delivering them all, haha.)

Shale spider makes excellent tanks as well due to the shield they get once they drop below 50% health.

Was able to farm leather in Nagrand from as early as level 94 using the pet to tank the mobs while I mis direct and mend pet to Amthea (unique shale spider).

Depends on mood white ghost cat from darkcshore or ghost jormungar (worm) from stormpeaks.

And no, I don't care for stats/buffs/whatever... I don't raid on my hunter :P

For soloing stuff: Arcturis/shale spider
Raiding: whatever the group needs
* if the group doesn't need anything specific, I usually use a sporebat or the monkey with the fez
