I had so many pogs and a pile of different slammers as a kid. Plastic ones, a few solid metal ones, and I think I even had one made out of some sort of paper. Pogs were huge then, thereabouts...1995? 1996?

Pogs were great fun. Went to all the flea markets to buy them in my town. Not long after these kinda went out of style was when I got into magic the Gathering. around highschool.

There is probably still a warehouse full of them somewhere. They went out of style as fast as they became popular in the first place.

I'm not sure, still seems quite common there, met at least one other person that saw children playing it there, and you can easily find pictures like this, or this, or even in video.

And the fun thing is that these are from totally different regions than Xi'an (at least the 2 that indicates where they're from).
