A good portable audio system?

Hello fellas.

I am looking for a portable audio system and I am a bit out of ideas



- Sound must be of high quality. (I mostly listen to Progressive house, Trance, alternative Rock)

- It must be portable, not too big as I will be moving around for some time.

- I wish to plug it to my computer and be able to plug my phone to it.

- It must be cheap. Yes, high quality sound products do exist for cheap prices, SoundMagic earbuds are the best example.


Any suggestion is more than welcome so that I can start doing some research! I don't care about the price as long as it's good and not ridiculously expensive.

Those portable JBL speakers that are kinda like the pill are awesome. A co-worker bought one and brought it in, the sound quality really impressed me. I wasn't expecting such a good sound out of a little device like that.

How portable do you want it?

Harman Kardon Go is great. But they are pretty big aswell. Weight is 4.3kg

I found the Amethyst BLOCK to be very very good, It kicks the ass out of many sony expensive ones.
