Hey guys, Sponsored is a semi-hardcore guild formed this expansion and we have been progressing fairly well through the raids this expansion has offered so far. We're currently pushing hard progression with a group of likeminded individuals who enjoy themselves whilst also raiding progressively. If any of this interests you, please continue reading.
About the guild:
We are currently 9/13M HFC (Previously 7/10M BRF and 6/7M HM). We currently have spots open on our raid team for raiders who want progression but with a strong community of friends who have a good time while doing so. 710+ iLevel required. (There are also spots open for subs/casual raiders, see below) We are originally a group of friends from the UK who have played together for a few years, who created the guild and have expanded into a diverse community of Raiders who get along well.
We are currently looking for:
DPS:
- Boomkin (Ability to play healer OS is helpful)
- Hunter
- Elemental Shaman
Any exceptional applicants (Regardless of class/Spec) will be considered as trials. If you wish to apply as a sub/casual raider as you have a busy schedule and may not be able to attend every raid, we are happy to accept you with the understanding we will take you only if required (Be sure to specify this in your application). All applications should be submitted to sponsoredwow.enjin.com/recruitment to be reviewed by our officers. All members are required to have TeamSpeak3 and preferably a working microphone.
What we expect from our members:
We expect a good, mature attitude from all of our members, with a strong urge to improve from raid to raid, in both DPS and tactical performance. We like our members to be happy to sit out fights if their class is not particularly strong for a boss to help the guild progress as best as possible. We like members to attend 90% of mandatory raids if they are looking to be a member of the raid team, and to sign up in advance so we can sort out the team before the raid night to save time. If you are a friendly person who enjoys joking around with likeminded people, you will fit in well to our community.
Raid times:
We currently raid Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday 8pm-11pm ST (7-10pm GMT). Monday's are used for alt raids, which anyone is welcome too but is an optional day. We expect members to attend the vast majority of raids if they wish to have a permanent spot on the Mythic roster.
Loot system:
We use loot council to distribute loot fairly and evenly, based on BiS stats, performance and current iLevel. This is done by our three officers, and is helped with the addon RCLootCouncil, which all members must install in order to receive loot. If anyone has issues with the way loot is distributed, officers are happy to discuss decisions but generally speaking we are happy with our choices.
How we run the guild/Raids:
We like to have a friendly atmosphere on Teamspeak that all members can feel happy and comfortable raiding in. Although we push for progression, if we find people are under performing we would rather speak to them directly over calling them out over Teamspeak in most situations. We try to give every raider multiple opportunities to correct mistakes/Issues with DPS/HPS before subbing them for a fight, and we only bench people when we feel there is no chance of improvement despite our best efforts. Our raid leader and officers are as fair as we can possibly be when it comes to raiding without holding back the progression of the guild, and are happy to discuss tactics/issues/decisions with members anytime after or before raids - However, if we feel we have made the best choice possible we are unlikely to revert it.

A 2% wipe on Heroic Blackhand on Sunday's raid, should really of been a kill! Slight changes to classes being recruited, but all exceptional applicants will be taken as trials.
After an extra raid on Tuesday in Mythic Highmaul we have now downed Butcher and Kor'agh, putting us at 6/7 HM. We're still recruiting the players listed above, although particularly looking for a mage and a feral druid.
