Laptop died want a cheap desktop build

Budget: £500 (lower the better = less wife aggro)
Resolution : best I can get for the money
Games / Settings Desired: WoW / Again best that I can get for the money
    Country : UK
Parts that can be reused : sadly not
Do you need an OS? : No but would be nice if possible as I currently use windoze 7
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? : No - have a monitor that I already use with my lappy - sound card isn't a issue as I use a plantronics usb headset.

My lappy is dying slowly so it time to get something slightly better than my old AMD laptop but I have money restraints as I don't want to annoy my wife too much by blowing to much money on something she thinks is a stupid game ^^
I can go over the budget a little but it don't want it to become if you just add £X more you can get this ... But if you also add £X more you can also add this.
I would like a SSD if possible in addition to a HDD but would settle on a larger SSD than both (if that's budget-able)

    Thanks for any builds.

With operative system it barely goes above the budget. Without it you have plenty to spare.

Personally i would recommend not going for the operative system since when windows 10 comes out I have heard a rumor that all win7 and win8 users can upgrade to it for a highly reduced cost.

    Translated means:
If you upgrade to win 10 from windows 7 8 and 8.1 within the first year of release it will be free. Which is subjected to arrive in summer.

No OS == i5 too. Stick with windows 7, as matey says free update to win10 if you don't like 7.

Just get the CD Key from your laptop for windows, download windows from microsoft servers and re-use the key. Not how its supposed to work but does result in a copy of windows from microsoft servers i.e. no crap, and key from last laptop == get updates.
