You argue balls and strikes, you get tossed. If you get tossed, you should lose that game check. Balls and strikes is fine, but they need to be called consistently. All sports officials need to be consistent.

Some normalcy restored for me. Cubs winni 2 of 3 from a damn good AL squad and the Cardinals losing 2 of 3!
My hunter is the genetic love child of Liam Neeson, the Dos Equis guy and Chuck Norris. You lose.

There was a consistent ump in a Dodger game a week or two ago, of course he was consistent in that he called everything a strike unless it bounced in front of the plate or a guy had to dive out of the way.
I'd be more okay with an augmented reality solution. The ump wears a high-tech F-35 helmet with a HUD that projects a strike zone based on batter height. This way the human element is there to overrule glitches in the system. A human would still be calling balls/strikes, but a Pitch/fx box and outline of a ball would be taking out all of the guesswork.
Chris Sale got scratched over another spat with front office people over inconsequential crap.
Welcome to The Show, Mike Mayers. First Major League start...
Single. Single. Walk. Grand Slam. Double. Strikeout. Groundout. Walk. Two run single by the pitcher.

Votto is fucking mashing since the ASG - in 11 games, he's hitting .500/.620/.889 (that's a 1.509 OPS). That is pretty disgusting. Dude is hitting .410 in July.
And on a Blue Jays' note, Aaron Sanchez is a machine. I think the AL Cy Young is going to have like 4-5 guys getting 1st place votes if no one runs away with it soon.
Can't wait for the Ms to get torched on sunday night baseball.
Matt Kemp traded for Hector Olivera, couple of bad dodger contracts getting swapped for each other.
Oh good, looks like another trade has been a crappy one for Boston. Pomeranz is 0-2 with a 7.54 ERA. Good to see the Oriels suffering at the hands of my Blue Jays, Gallardo was 4-0 pitching in Toronto until yesterday, where a bat around 5th inning that saw 11 hitters go to the plate, wound up being the deciding factor in a Blue Jays win. They'd add another pair of runs to win it 9-1, with Happ throwing 7 innings of 3 hit ball with only 1 run against. Toronto is getting so amazing starting pitching, and it pisses me off that they want to put Sanchez in the bullpen so he doesn't get hurt, meanwhile he is still well in control and could easily win the AL Cy Young award at 22 years old. Heck, Happ has the second best ERA in the American League as well.
Haha that bunt last night was fun
You're a towel.
Thanks Dodgers for taking Reddick from Oakland.
They did indeed tell Puig to fuck off, he's being demoted. It's too bad, if he is finally healthy he's a better option than Howie Kendrick.
They coulda told him to fuck off to Seattle.
Kinda disappointed they didn't shop Cruz at all, but glad they didn't trade prospects. Next 5 years look pretty up if everything pans out...

WELP the Ms couldn't offload Cishek for 5 dollars, now they just gotta DFA him. Doesn't help the terrible batting leaves 5 stranded in 2 innings.
^^ ROFL.
AAA players don't grow on trees? That's what he is now, isn't he?
Also have you see the Mariners depth chart, like at all? Felix Hernandez, Nelson Cruz, Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager, Steve Cishek, etc.
Are you saying the Dodgers wouldn't want Cano over Utley, Seager over Turner, Nelson Cruz over Puig (or now Reddick), and bullpen help?
