    First time builder, halp

My budget is $1700, looking to be able to max out Wow, upcoming Witcher 3, play heavily nodded skyrim, Shadow of Mordor. Streaming would be a nice option as well. I can over clock and would be interested in doing so, I will be getting Windows 8.1 pro for $45 if you wanna tack that on, any help is appreciated! No monitor or other peripherals required. Edit: forgot to add maxing them out at 1080p at 60 fps.

Be warned though, if you are talking 60+ while doing 25+ man raiding, your gonna dip below 60 at times. It's just not possible maintain 60+ FPS in a heavy raid environment in WoW. The primary thread is locked to a single core, so no matter what you do, it's gonna be limited. For everything else though, this will spank it.

Also, this could easily be scaled back to an i5/GTX 970 and still have pretty much the same performance, but I tend to go as close to the max of a budget as I can.

This is what id roll with, no need to spend anymore than this : ) If you want you could add a 144hz or 1440p monitor this and be right around your original budget, which might be worth it considering what your current monitor is.

There's some headroom left to add a second GTX 980 in the future if you would like, and I wasn't really sure on air cooler, but if you would be wanting to use an AIO liquid cooler then NZXT Kraken X61 or X41.

I left some headroom for a second GTX 980 in the future and I'm not sure about the CPU cooler, whether you would be willing to go for an AIO, if so then NZXT Kraken X61 or X41 (depending on your preference, but X61 is better due to being a dual radiator).
