bugged firelands legendary quest help

i'm currently trying to get my staff/mount from the firelands legendary quest chain but atm i'm having an issue with shannox when either i get trapped myself or let a dog get trapped there is no loot from the crystal that appears i've try'd it with a another person myself being trapped or one of the dogs being trapped same issue i have the other 3 crystals along with the quest in my quest log DELEGATION i'm not sure what to do

The loot is on the ground, tiny little crystals after the trap breaks. They're hard to see.

You need three of them to create the focus, then comes the tricky part. You need to drop the created focus down in the centre of his spear throw before the spear hits the ground.

noted i do kill rage face on the pull leaving me with riplimb and shannox either trapping rip or myself
