2560x1440 is referred to as the sweet spot for gaming by many. So with all the newly released and upcoming monitors of this resolution, and the ever decreasing cost of adaptive sync technologies, it's becoming harder to decide on the best gaming monitor.
For most, the perfect gaming monitor-simplified-would include: 144Hz, Adaptive sync technology, 1ms response time and an IPS panel. There are no such monitors currently to my knowledge, although there are some that come very close, so i have complied a list of freesync and g-sync displays closely matching this cireteria.
Freesync:
[BenQ XL2730Z](http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=17&catid=948)
[Acer Predator XG270HU](http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=17&catid=948)
[Asus MG279Q](http://www.pcper.com/news/Displays/C...efresh-Monitor)
Gsync:
[Acer Predator XB270HU](http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=17&catid=948)
[Asus PG278Q ROG Swift](http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=17&catid=948)
I will personally be waiting to see the pricing of the MG279Q and check out reviews on it and the other freesync options, as the price step between the two Acer options isn't worth it in my opinion(I don't value IPS panels too highly). TLDR:What do you think the best 1440p gaming monitor is?
