    A shitty idea, to be honest. We don't need another Diablo. Sockets, tertiary and warforged are all the RNG we need.

    No actually I despise D3. I was a much bigger fan of D2. Why cant I enjoy randomized stats and WoW without being antagonized?

    Because that system has no place in a game like WoW (which is why sockets/warforged are almost universally hated) and it's a bad idea :-)

    No, please just stop. I get it, you like playing a virtual casino instead of a game. But trust me, most of us don't. Game is already in a bad enough state when people are rolling every tier token because it might be warforged/socket; and it is hard as fuck to get weapon/trinket for offspec because of warforged/socket. To me, warforged shit was one of the worst ideas Blizzard implemented in game, followed by occasional socket rng implementation. Not to mention that socket change totally destroyed Jewelcrafting.
    No more time wasted in WoW.. still reading this awesome forum, though

    Happy: This would just piss people off requiring even more farming of a instance that already necessary. RNG like this is not fun. It would cause even more gear to go to waste right after Blizzard revamped the gear design in WOD to adapt to your class. Plus we'd end up with items consisting of versatility and crit every week because RNG would screw us over.

    People already get frustrated when only 1 trinket has dropped after 20 kills. Imagine the frustration when that trinket comes with all the wrong stats making the prior dungeon's drop better?

    you had a bad suggestion and you should feel bad.

    no all jokes aside as others have mentioned unless you removed the lockout system that would have no place here. Think d3 where you only get to go into one greater rift and one t6 nep rift per week. think how long and annoying it would take to get that one piece of gear that you actually can use.

    Indeed, it has been discussed.

    In the case at hand if it were to be implemented then whatever mode we'd all be raiding, every single item would have to drop in times 10 to put it in perspective.

    And as everyone, no fu#king thanks.

    The raid model we had in earlier expansions was better before this WF and random socket c#ap(Before ToT), where gear was itemized to fit all the classes and eventually enabled everyone to exploit their potential to their possible limits.

    Now it's just, same ilvl produces a god damn huge variation for some people and I've even argued earlier that we would now need reforge more than ever to combat this problem or hope for the fairytale to come true that every secondary would be equally weighted.

    Anyways, No thanks and I can't wait for them to revert the innovative changes and features they brought this expansion around for the way gearing works.
    I'm thinking that their idea behind it was to make it more interesting to get loot but for many(myself often included) it's not what's going on.

    No. No. No and no. Rolling an item that has sodding avoidance or leech on it instead of Warforged + Gem pisses me off enough as it is, let alone having the decent stats on it have a range. This would be a terrible implementation.

    would only work if you could farm bosses non-stop (as often as you want per week) which would be a shit system...

    there is already enough RNG in wow concerning loot.

    Hell to the no. There's enough horrible RNG garbage in Raid Loot as it is.

    You made a thread similar to this the other day, raids don't need to be necessary forever. Once the next raid is released it should pretty much replace the previous one unless your group is missing a couple pieces from the previous raid. You should really just stick to Diablo where all those stupid loot rules make sense.

    Aside from the fact that Leech is one of the dumbest stats ever introduced in the context of all the troubleshooting and hotfixes they did to counter on-pull lag spikes, everyone else in the thread already explained what a horrible idea this is.

    Diablo's that way.
