Relic weapons and state of the game

Hey

I played ffxiv when it was released (or well when sales resumed after the shortage of servers) - I got my Relic +2 (the hardcore titan wep) on my warrior - at the time it was the best weapon.

I wanna start playing again, specially because I like how Heavensward is shaping up. but what is the state of the game? what is the max relic now? Relic+3? +4?

Relic is no longer using the terms +1 +2 and such now, now is:

Base > Zenith (ex +1) > Atma > Animus > Novus > Nexus > Zodiac > Zeta

I believe you only had first Coil (Turn 1 to 5) at the time? Now it is up to Turn 13.

Crystal Tower should be new when you left, now there are Sycrus Tower and World of Darkness as well.

Trial wise now we have Ifrit Garuda Titan Moogle Leviathan Ramuh and Shiva.

Hildibrand quest line has concluded but I believe they will make a return in Heavensward. Unsure about Mog Delivery quest line as I haven't done those.

We now have Gold Saucer, and you can play Triple Triad (the card game in FF8) with NPC and players.

That is all the major changes I can think of.

Chocobo racing!

Yeah, it comes with running over arrows for speed boost, grabbing coffer for items (weapon or speed boost or infinite energy etc), different rank (cc), different tracks.

It is almost a bit like Mario Kart, but with Chocobo.
