Why do people BM more when playing against an out of the ordinary deck?

So, I have a tendency to create some wacky decks from time to time when I get bored of the same meta decks 99% of the entire population uses. The thing is, I've noticed that people tend to BM A LOT when facing someone else using a weird deck. Sometimes it's because they utterly destroyed the unusual deck (had a mech mage that curved perfectly and spammed me with "Hello" and "Sorry" the entire duel) and other times it's because the weird deck is giving them a challenge/beating them and they end up spamming "I will be your death!" all the time.

Is it just me or anyone else has noticed this?

The Threaten emote always makes me laugh. It doesn't really sound threatening, given I associate it with me roflstomping the other person.

I haven't noticed any correlation, I don't get much BM though.
