Please critique our elemental shaman

Hello shaman!

One of our guildies recently went elemental, which he hasn't player before, and I'm hoping someone can provide some feedback on his performance. I'm not interested in his DPS versus the rest of the raid, since his ilevel is quite a bit worse, only his performance versus what he could be doing.

If anyone can provide feedback on how he is doing and potential improvement opportunities, I would really appreciate it. I'm not unfamiliar with the shaman class, but I've always played Enhance or Resto so Elly is a bit of a black box to me.

If you look at rankings he is at 49% for his ILVL which means he is about middle. His flameshock and searing totem usage looks good but he only used ascendance 1 time and should have had another. Why he didn't use his main dps cd more than once I don't know. He also is missing a ring enchant and has a cheap enchant on his other ring.

[The Yeti]

- He only used one DPS potion at start, should've used two to be optimal.
- Missed an Ascendance cast, pretty huge.
- Missed one possible searing totem. Really small thing, but it does help.
- Enchants need to be optimized.

Otherwise, he looks like he's doing most things right. I'd just bring up those couple of things.
