Thread: Cloud Storage?

    Cloud Storage?

    Hey guys

Ive run out of space on my PC and am looking around for Cloud Storage.

I need at least 2TB to hold my file.

Ive found Dropbox goes as far as 50gb for free and most other places I find are around the same figures.

I might be hoping for too much but is there a free cloud service with no cap on space? Or is there a way to link together multiple clouds into 1 mega cloud?

    Seagate-Backup-Desktop-External

You could use 7zip to rar your file into smaller compressed files and then upload each chunk into a bunch of google drive accounts but I would just get a good external backup, 2 backups if it's important.

    1TB is $9.99/month

    10TB is $99.99 per month.

    http://www.livedrive.com/ForHome might be more affordable.

You're not gonna find that much for free.

That's a lot of p()rn you got stored there.

I second Google Drive. Easy to use. Not THAT expensive.

You could also just build a server with 2 TB and just do that.

Why don't you just get an external HDD?

Get yourself a cheap NAS drive and speak to your ISP about a Static IP, or use no-ip or some other service
Set up a FTP to your files.

Problem solved for a lot less than a cloud service.

If you need more than 2 TB you might want to consider setting up your own "Cloud", such as a networking NAS or FTP file server with a few 4 TB or so HDD's.
