It'd be cool if this show turned into what Misfits did with their characters, just fucking kill everyone so by the end, none of the original characters are still alive. I mean, they can kill off a kid (please not Alycia first) and then a parent and then Ruben's people and introduce 2-3 new ones to replace, then kill off Curtis and replace him with a new alpha, then Blades etc rinse and repeat so that literally half the core gets killed every season until we are sick of zombies and we learn the west coast is basically dead.
Yeah, I didn't mean that literally. I was imagining people in life jackets floating dead, or kinda chilling in low depth water, being on other boats they try to board for supplies, being on an island, etc. There are definitely a lot of fresh zombies going on in this season from the previews....like armies of them.

lol Z Nation is my favorite zombie show. It fully embraces "this shit is stupid and absurd" and runs with it.
I don't think they swim in Plague Inc. unless you really mutate the fuck outta them and hope they float to fucking Greenland because someone sneezed and they shut down their port.
A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.
I never really thought about that. Since the zombies tend to wander pretty aimlessly, it makes sense that quite a few of them would end up in water. If they went as far as that point where gas builds up and they start floating...I guess they'd just float to the top and be flailing about but not really getting anywhere?
Now this reminded me of this gem:

Sharks aren't scavengers, generally, and don't usually eat rotting flesh. Maybe, though? IDK.
They would eat them out of confusion, same as how surfers and other people get attacked. It would be slimy and shine in the water, so they would bite it up just to see what was going on. Since the blood would be dry, I don't think they would actually be lured to a zombie...just drawn by movement.
