Chaos Wave vs Hand of Gul'dan

Hello guys!
Im fairly new on the Demo Spec and I am having trouble with our Chaos Wave/Hand of Gul'dan on sigle target fights...

I am aware that I should use CW on multi target fights and stack HoG on single target fights, but is there any scenario that I should use CW on single target? I usually can stack HoG for ~5 casts (with T17 4p bonus), is that a good idea?

Where are you getting this information?

Use Chaos Wave under Dark Soul.
Use HoG two stacked otherwise.

Number of targets is entirely irrelevant, unless they're low health adds that won't live long enough for HoG to tick through.

That is a very broad statement. You should not exclusively use Chaos Wave under DS, and HoG otherwise, it's a bit more intricate than that, and it's been discussed at length here.
