That'd be my thoughts on the matter as well. I hate the alliance, but Muradin is a badass.

Chen. Since Muradin is a block of stone. All you'd need is a chisel and a hammer and Muradin would be in pieces. If Muradin wasn't a stone block. They both die from exhaustion and bleed out on the rocks....TIE.

Dwarves have always been my favorite race and Muradin is one of my favorites. I think everyone is underestimating how strong dwarves are and how strong Mountain Kings are. I think it would be close but I think Muradin would win.

How are you confusing two very different dwarfs?

Also HordeSchmorde has a fair point. Muradin survived Frostmourne; Chen barely survives walking. Also Muradin can become stone, so there goes the "bears are strong" argument.
"Barely survives walking"? He was never in any danger in MoP, it was everything else being in danger that was the issue.

Less that, I feel people are underestimating how strong a Pandaren Monk is. Pandaren do stupid strong feats of strength all over Pandaria. Things way in advance of what Dwarf has done, and its not uncommon for just the common people to do these things: the ones specially trained for fighting end up being black and white fighting gods. They may be fat (but then again, so are dwarves), but they're also built like, well, bears. They are stupidly strong. Chen has many advantages over Muradin, and Muradin only has one over Chen: wearing armor. Though armor has never been shown to stop a Monk.

I'm not saying Muradin is weak. There are foes that he'd have an easier time with than Chen: like magical enemies, or fighting in a more confined space. But against Chen? Muradin hasn't much chance aside from getting lucky. Chen is a counter to most anything Muradin could do.

Brewmasters have Fortifying Brew with the Glyph of Stoneskin

It would be an interesting fight but my money is on Maradin given what we know about the two characters.

That's always struck me as odd. Technically, Muradin should be more durable outside of Avatar, since whatever metal he is wearing > stone.

Also, breaking stone is like, being a monk 101.

I was referring to that quest in the Valley of Four Winds where you escort him to Halfhill.

Aaand? Bears being stout was being used as an argument to make Chen look tougher. My point is that they're both on the same level when it comes to that.

Well nothing happened on that walk and he was fine. He was trying to teach his niece how to be patient and take in your surroundings.

We're all forgetting an important point, ladies and gents.

Muradin got owned by a block of ice. I'm pretty sure Chen with his crazy kung-fu moves would dodge it.

    Ice 1 - Muradin 0 ;D

Looking more into Chen, found some interesting things.

He once fended off Coren Direbrew by himself.
    He helped start "Brewfest"
He was declared a friend of the Dwarves for aiding Magni Bronzebeard in the Third War
Chen fought and defeated an Orcish blademaster to the point of humiliation
Chen fought the blademaster again, but this time said blademaster was fel infused, during which he disarmed the blade master and speared a naga with said sword by throwing it

It's all in Pearl of Pandaria. Apparently Chen has been traveling around since before the first war, since he mentions going to the blasted lands before it was well, blasted.

    Exactly: nothing happened.

Try it in Heroes of the storm and see who wins

Also Chen is a combination of windwalker and brewmaster some terrifying stuff right there

E.T.C would beat both with his awesome guitar and stage dive
