    Help with new Build.

    Hi, I am selling my current rig (in sig) to my friend for cheap to get him into PC gaming. I have about $1300-1500 CDN to spend on my new build. I do not need peripherals, windows, monitors, mechanical hdds. I generally buy my stuff from websites like NCIX and Newegg. Any input is welcomed.

    Thanks.

    That should have everything you need for current levels of gaming at 1080p. If you need to upgrade, then you can do a nunmber of different things:

    1) You can upgrade to a 16GB dual-channel kit of RAM;
    2) you can change the CPU to the Intel i7-4790k;
    3) you can change the GPU to either the GTX980 or the upcoming R9-380 or R9-390. Check prices first, though.
