I don't get it, you have medicine related question and ask about it anonymous crowd instead of doctor?

It's not that Candida isn't real. It's that Candida isn't what those commercials lead you to believe.
Go to a doctor. A naturopath, ideally.

Actually, probiotics do help to combat Candida. This fungus is in everyone's body, but only through periods of weakened state it might get the upperhand by killing off your good bacteria. By taking priobiotics you allow your body to fight the candida naturally.
But as with any treatment, it doesn't work for everyone. That is why you should see a doctor OP, you can explain to your doctor that this particular treatment worked for you, and you can just ask advice as to what the recommended dosages are.
All I know is that I had a bad case of candida overgrowth. I went to a naturalpath who gave me some drops that tasted like rubber. I stopped getting sick all the time and my memory improved and my fibromyalgia improved.
And yes, you do need more than probiotics, but there are lots of ways to help an overgrowth of gut candida, including eliminating sugar
So much irony. If you had done even a small bit of cursory research. Or even read the information given to you in this thread, you wouldn't be so ignorant on the subject. A subject you blindly believe to be knowledgeable in, no less.
1. Candida is not a bacteria, it's a fungus. If you can't distinguish between bacteria and fungi, I'm worried for you.
2. An overgrowth of the fungus (Candida) isn't called Candida, as I stated before it's called "Candidiasis." It will help your case a lot if you can actually name what you've claimed to be afflicted with.
