Mount farmers- How lucky and persistent are you?

So, I've seen it all in the "Obtained a rare mount? Link the Screenshot!" thread: people with 500 kills and still no Invincible, people with 1400 kills but still no Pandaria WB mount, people with 2 Sha of Anger mounts in their inventory, people with 5 or 6 mounts dropping in 1 day, people with 2 Reins of the TLPD,etc. I've also seen people with just 1 character farming mounts, others with 30 or more. That made me wonder, how lucky is the average MMO_Champion mount farmer? How many alts does he use?

The purpose of this thread is to answer the previous questions. So, first and foremost post the number of alts that you use to farm mounts, then copy paste the list I have bellow me and write the number of kills/days or quests that it took you to get the following mount. If you still don't have it write "Still farming" after the number. Some kill stats are not in our armory, so if you don't remember some number write an approximation with a "Around" before the number. If you got it while current content write "Current content".

I've been 'lucky' with a few but most of my mounts required me to keep persistent and not rely on luck. A lot of people say "Oh you are so lucky!" and I just respond by telling them that luck doesn't exist for me but dedication does and that's the key to mount farming.

All of my mount farms are over 100 kills, except Flametalon of Alysrazor, which was on my first Heroic kill during progression, 6th kill overall. A few outliers:
Rivendare's Deathcharger - 3362 kills, including the 2600 or so kills before WotLK increased the droprate from 0.01% to 1%.
Raven Lord - 368 kills, when a druid was required to summon.
Grand Black War Mammoth - Approx 1000 kills across 12 characters. Saw 9 drop duing WotLK, all of which were ninja'd.
Experiment 12-b - approx 1550, across 12 characters. Saw none drop during Cataclysm.
Invincible - No official total, but it was enough to make 6 Shadowmournes for myself with different characters. At least 70 solo kills across 4 characters post-Shadowmourne farm.

close to 400 rivendare kills, over 190 al'akir kills, took about 140 yogg kills to see mims head, invincible took about 90 kills but I saw it drop 3 times. other mounts didn't take that long, I think the most oustanding raid one I have is 230+ Ultra kills.

Off the top of my head:

Rivendare's deathcharger: ~150-200 over several toons. Got it first kill on my DK alt before account wide mounts... so I still farmed it afterwards on other characters.
Raven lord: 1st try on warlock, probably 10 kills on my warrior.
White Hawkstrider: 50+ kills for my first. Then it dropped like crazy on my alts. Helped a friend farm it for his 100 mount cheeze when it was hard. We never saw it.
Ashes of Alar: ~30

TLPD: Flying through storm peaks shortly after launch, found it, killed it. Only knew about it cause of a thread on here
White Polar Bear: looong time... nearly every day till mid ICC with a few breaks. Probably 200+
Blue proto drake: Sometime before Uld, probably 10-15 kills plus won the roll against others.
Mammoth: not long after Uld, saw it drop a few times before and it was always ninja'd.
Malygos mount: Not long, like 5 kills
Mims head: ~ 20 tries. Hasn't dropped and I don't farm for it.
Invincible: 30-40 tries, hasn't dropped.

Alakir mount: 15-20, hasn't dropped.
Vortex Pinnacle mount: ~50 kills, saw it drop once at content and lost roll. Haven't seen it since
Stonecore mount: ~25 kills, hasn't dropped and I don't farm for it.
Alysrazor mount: ~40 kills, hasn't dropped
Ragnaros mount: not long, probably 5 kills after stat squish.
Ultraxion and Deathwing mount: 30 kills, nothing yet.

Pretty lucky, but I only farmed on one toon for a majority of those. So 30 kills is 30 weeks for raid bosses except for ICC and DS. I'm more patient than wanting to suffer dragon soul soloing more than twice a week.

Oh and screw Headless horseman. Saw it drop once when you had to actually group up and you had 5 summons. Was running it with guildies and this guy won it on a DK alt which collected dust. Never saw that mount again.

I don't know how you guys can manage doing Pandaria WB runs with 14-30 characters every week! Over 1000 kills, that's a crazy amount of runs. I do it with only 5 characters (and only started doing with 5 characters a few months ago) and there are weeks where I simply do not have the time to do the runs or I do have the time but after farming old raids with all 5 characters, farming Savage Bloods, raiding with my main I am completely exhausted and cannot manage to push myself to do the Pandaria runs with all 5 characters. Also, it doesn't depend on you completely, you have to either find a group already doing them or you have to create one yourself and there were times when I had to wait over 1 or 2 hours just to get 5-6 people together, not to mention waiting for bosses to respawn.

I commited myself to keep 953k gold on hold just for the purpose of buying the Sha of Anger mount exactly because I don't imagine myself ever reaching over 1000 WB kills and considering the statistics, you would need on average 2000 to loot the mount (if you aren't too unlucky and if you don't use coins). It's a huge commitment doing those runs every week on that many characters I'll give you that, much respect for anyone that is capable of enduring the excruciating farm of these mounts. GG for anyone that manages to do that, but it's a bit too much for me personally.

I used to do the world bosses every week on 14 characters but CRZ has kind of ruined it now. Can't form a group without someone pulling a boss or the bosses aren't even up and everyone bails

picked up solar spirehawk the first day it went live on 5th alt kill, and just recently got pureblood fire hawk on first heroic kill with my hunter.. only other ones I can remember getting so quickly was the Raven Lord got it on my 2nd kill and Drake of the North Wind, also on my 2nd kill. I don't farm for mounts a whole lot.. but I usually have pretty good luck with them.

Reins of the Drake of the North Wind - first kill, actually (not counting leveling and stuff). I just learned how to kill 1st boss, skip trash and made it solo first time to Altairius, killed him and there it was.
Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake - 20 kills and then got bored, might farm it again.
Swift Zulian Panther - Never bothered, might start one day.
Armored Razzashi Raptor - Never bothered, might start one day.

Reins of the Sunhide Gronnling - Tried 2 times in a big ass cross-realm group of enthusiasts (500+ people across the whole region), one time it was ninja-pulled and killed by people who feared they won't get it, the other time group on the server that had it spawned declined all invites. Never bothered again.
Reins of the Voidtalon of the Dark Star - Never farmed it.
Reins of the Great Greytusk - Never farmed it.
Reins of the Saphire Riverbeast - Never farmed it.
Reins of the Swift Breezestrider - Got it on my first try: I just learned of this mount and its spawn points, and ran across the zone. At the last spawn point there was a leveling paladin who was already in combat with it. Killed it with him and was very happy.
Reins of the Bloodhoof Bull - it spawned on me after 30 minutes of camping. Made a 40man raid, waited for everyone and killed it. People were happy.
Reins of the Mottled Meadowstomper - Saw it while on a flight path, when I landed at the Ring of Blood I immediately ran towards him. Got there in time.

I feel your pain. There's two mounts I got within a reasonable timeframe, others took hundreds of kills and some I still don't have despite farming them for years with 10+ chars.
