Not drama.

Basically I thought I got passed up to represent my college and present my research in Poland by a bunch of people that I KNOW I'm better than in written/oral communication and in my study. I went through this whole "I gotta get my shit together" phase only to realize that I did not actually get passed up but was chosen.

This took you an entire phase to realize?

That's your issue then, you shouldn't care about what random people on the street think about you. Their opinion is meaningless to your life.

I am fully aware that it is an/my issue. I am also aware that I probably should not care about it, but in the end, I still do.
