Used to smoke all the time in my old job because it was stressful. Now I'm out of that job I'm smoking about 5 times less. I think a lot of people smoke as a smoking mechanism.

My old job was teaching kids outdoor activities and having a cigarette was sort of a physical representation of being away from the kids and not having to be all happy clappy and cheery. You had a 10 minute break and lit up because the kids aren't there and you can chill out and de-stress.

Now I'm working in a bar and it's pretty chilled anyway so I only smoke when I'm at home and only occasionally even then

You get "loose" which isn't contained and can get really messy, but I use "portion" which is all contained in small paperish bags, kind of like a teabag, no leftovers from that.
