So my main is an Unholy DK for my guild currently 6/10H BRF, however we have an abundance of plate in our raid group, 5 wearers out of 15 members. And one cloth wearer, so my leader and i talked about me switching to a warlock. I was able to get up to 670 ilevel with help from my guild but I feel like im putting out the numbers i should be. I read the guide on summonstone but still have a few questions.
1) When is the best time to pop my second charge of Dark Soul? Should i pool MC procs till like 5-8 and pop it? Or pop it right after my first one expires.
2) What should i do with my Grimiore/Dark Soul Dump is about to come off cooldown but i dont have many MC procs but high fury? do i just use it and dumb with ToC? or do i wait to build some MC charges.
3) Is it worth dumping MC procs with only the weapon enchant proc? or should i wait for a trinket proc and the weapon enchant proc to dump SF.
4) If I'm in a SF dump phase and corruption is about to fall off is it better to stack it back up with ToC then dump SF or finish SF dump then reapply corruption outside of Meta?
And you will find answer to most of your question. Try to dump stacks with a better procs than weapon but if you are about caping fury/molten then even weapon is better than nothing
1. You should be using your DS on cooldown, assuming you have enough fury and molten core stacks. Don't pop DS if you don't have fury or molten core stacks because that's a waste. If you know the boss will soon be on 20% health it's worth to save DS for that duration along with GoServ and your prepot. You will then have two doomguard hitting harder (their execute) paired with DS and 1k mainstat pot.
2. Well, you could try saving Chaos Wave so you can force-proc molten core. You can get 3 charges with 4pc bonus and a chance for proccing more. Need someone else to answer this one, not sure myself.
3. I don't think so. DS alone is enough for dumping procs, however, if you have trinket procs(other than haste, so crit/mastery and multistrike) you could use some molten core procs, but not all of them so you have some left for your DS dump. If you're capping on fury, though, then yeah it might be worth it, depending on your MC stacks.
4. Just ToC whenever it is about to fall off and continue spamming SF.
