Most guilds take months to clear raids on heroic. That's to say nothing of mythic which takes even longer for most people except the top 1%.

Any content that is numerically POSSIBLE to do will be done because the players at the top are a hell of a lot better than everyone else and it doesn't matter how hard they make something, if it is possible, it will be done.
I like ponies and I really don't care what you have to say about that.

You dont deserve to get the achievement then, stop trying to make blizzard dumb the game down even more, it has been done enough already, tired of ppl like you who instead of putting work into the game they start crying on forums to make things easier.

It's not hard, it's stupid and frustrating.
Not all PvP players like PvE, but that's literally ALL of the other achievements. I say take your cheese and wine and shove off.

PvP should be in a different game. It really is barely even part of warcraft.

Ahhh, I remember guildies back in the day really, REALLY bitching about this achievement. Heck, even some idiots complaining in MoP for the legendary chain. I can see the MoP chain being hard as Alliance, since the racials were different and the Alliance is just generally bad in randoms for the most part, but it still shouldn't have been THAT hard.

For this achievement... just play the game. In AB, hit Farm/Stables, if you are alliance stream to LM like the bots, if Horde stream to BS. There are your 2 easy opportunities. WSG, roll with the FC kill group and when he's down to 25% health, start spam clicking for the return. AV, head straight to a tower/bunker, don't get blinded by Balinda/Galvanger.

EOTS is the hard one... we actually trolled the hell out of some groups. The best, before I was battlemaster, but really close to it, I was escorting a High Warlord Warrior with the flag and a arena master disc priest (I on my resto druid) and we had 3-4 PVE heroes following us, BEGGING us to let them cap. We simply told them "go get us 3 towers, and we'll escort each of you for your achievement" Guess what? 1-3 turned into 3-1 and we personally escorted those 4 people to get their achievements.

We don't need even more things dumbed down to the point of being facerolled. Jeremy is right, it's called School of Hard Knocks for a reason. You might not enjoy PvP (I don't either) but that ain't anybody else's problem but your own, PvP players are forced to do PvE all the time, so I don't see the problem.

I did them all yesterday. I don't do PVP, at all. Here's my strat.

The Alterac Valley one is easy enough, go for the second tower, most people will go for the first. If that fails, go for the ones at the opposing base, chances are there aren't that many people defending them, or any at all.

AB, race for stables/farm, or LM/BS. If you fail, try again in another AB, or follow the group when they are attacking a flag and hope you don't get interrupted.

EotS isn't thaaat hard. It just comes down to having a decent group, and being lucky with the flag. Once you get it, getting it to the base is pretty easy imo. There are a lot of PVE people, so it's not super hard.

WSG was the hardest, but luckily there were like 4 other people doing the achievement. We all stayed in the flag room, waiting for a lone alliance player to come, and killed them after they picked up the flag. We managed to do that 4 times before the time ran out. Only one person didn't get to click it, but they could try again later.

Did it with my friend earlier.
Imo MOST of the people who don't complete this are afraid of the idea of PvPing more than realizing that this is not hard.

I completed mine years ago, I don't know what the problem is. Not every achievement is supposed to be easy to get.

Try getting To The Rescue sometime, then tell me this one is too hard.

Or even... *shudder*... exalted in AB/WSG...

The whiners are so comical. As a pre nerf Insane in the Membrane, I laugh at you all. PVP achievements simply take a time investment. If you aren't willing to put in a much smaller time investment than some PVE achievements require, then you're the failure and not the design team.

You beat Mythic Blackhand in 1 day?

It's called World of WARcraft not World of LOVEcraft (although WoW does have Lovecraftian elements). I find it endlessly amusing that some people are so dead set against PvP when the Alliance v Horde conflict is the main theme of the game. Is it a fear of failure? Is it just that some players are so terrible at the game they can't cope with fighting a thinking enemy? Why else discriminate between killing npcs and killing pcs?

    Toughen up cupcake.

It's not super difficult, if you don't want to stick it out to get the achievement, sorry about your luck. That's kind of the point of achievements, doing challenging or tedious things for rewards. This achievement isn't a requirement for anything other than a cosmetic mount reward, it's not required to play the game or to raid.

Main reason I don't have the meta completed, can't be arsed to pvp.

He could've said, "sorry you're such a whiner. we'll make it easier for you tomorrow".

Deal with it, it's not hard to get.

Want some cheese with your whine?

Try being a druid, during winter, and need killing blows, while in gnome costume.. A costume that is removed, when you shapeshift...
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

I remember completing the meta for what a long strange trip it's been in wotlk, it's how I got 310% speed on my hunter. I was among the first to complete the meta (there were a few others on my server as well).

I never found the School of Hard Knocks a difficult achievement to complete tbh. On my hunter I did it in a few hours, and vice versa on my dk, on all other characters I never bothered with achievements. I must admit I've always had a full set of both pve and pvp gear.

They shouldn't change the achievement IMO. There should be some hard achievements, even if I'm of opinion the "what a long strange trip it's been" requires no hard achievements. Secondly the reward is just a vanity item, you don't need it to progress, there is no reason for the achievement to change. This rant is as crazy as a pvper whining he can't complete the insane because he doesn't like pve.
