My reason? originally it was because I played all the Warcraft RTS games and was a huge RPG fan. The mixture of both instantly sold me. Been playing since early 2005 just before the "Ruins of Dire Maul" patch 1.3.

Seeing I play on EU.. it came out in Feb 2005 and my sub is active since 27 feb 2005.
So 2 weeks and 2 days after it came out.

Hey guys just wondering what your reasons are for playing WoW.
Like how long have you guys been playing?

Been playing since release. My brother bought it and let me play since I didn't have money of my own yet. Got my own account in 2005. Played a Tauren Druid, Orc Warlock, and Night Elf Hunter. I've been on for most of the 10 years it's been out. Met my husband during the end of Wrath. Moved around with him for a bit, continued to play. Now frantically trying to buy time with gold since our money situation is kinda "bleh" right now.

I enjoy all the races. I abhor at the factions (still). Waiting for the day I can play my orcs and such alongside my husband's dwarf.
