Unless you got some parsing agenda, your job as a BM hunter is to capitalize on single-target damage when it is needed on Beastlord Darmac. Sure, get Beast Cleave going and save Barrages for when the Pack Beasts spawn if the boss is tanked nearby them, but otherwise don't even bother attempting to "overdo" it by getting your pet across the room to cleave them and shit like that. The effort is hardly ever worth it, and other classes can AoE them effortlessly, sometimes even gaining slight single-target by doing so.

It is also why "average" DPS for this fight is not reliable. I was barely hitting 60k for weeks and weeks. This week I hit 78k because some of the AoE-heavy people went single-target builds.

If your objective is to get high parses anyway, get as many people with high AoE to just.. Not do that. Save Barrages for every Pack Beast pack, sit on Focus Fire/Bestial Wraths if you have to in order to get the sweet AoE going and the damage will look something like above. To be clear, though, that parse was complete whoremode: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...ce=9&by=target

And it was only really "acceptable" from the perspective of killing the boss because it's 1) an easy boss for us 2) on farm and 3) others went single-target hardmode to compensate.

Is it worth staying SV for this one fight since our spear damage is relatively lacking without me on them?

    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...one&target=125

Also on Oregorger I do a lot more crate dmg than most of my raid (which I feel like is because of my Serpent Sting).

That's our last parse. My guild is currently 3/10 (we've had about 3-4 weeks of progression - many problems getting a solid 20) - should have H&F down this week as well.

I usually pop everything on the pull, pre pot etc
I stay on the 1st beast and Tranq shot (I have glyph so no focus is lost)
-at this point I'm trying to save Explosive Trap for Pack Beasts and if possible stagger my Barrage for them as well (if its within a few seconds or so)
I'm switching targets pretty fast when Beastlord mounts
by the time Dreadwing is mounted my Stampede is coming up, but I'm pretty sure I don't have time to use it AND have it for final phase dps burn. So I save it.
I'm not in the habit of getting speared, I'm usually one of the last ones alive on wipes.

When Beastlord jumps to Rend and Tear, I notice my pet is chasing him, losing dps
I try to spam Multi-shot when Pack Beast are out and try to have either Exlposive Trap or Barrage up
I tend to stand on existing Spears so if I get targeted I can drop mine on top of one, then I stand behind it so my Barrage also hits the spears
But other than that I actively ignore spears unless someone gets trapped or DPS is called to help on them before Faultline comes out.

-in short plaes halp, whats an average dps done for this fight for BM?
I do between like 50-60k depending on rng of the 2pc. Also master's call helps a lot with getting you pet in position if you aren't using it. Pet management and saving focus fire is key on that fight for doing dps. Feral is like top single target damage so you won't beat him on the boss lol
