two cents about the dragon egg

Been playing a budget dragon priest just to have some fun this week. I've had dragon egg in it even though it doesn't count as a dragon mainly for flavor, and I've noticed it has been pairing very well with velen's chosen. Egg turn 1 and either coin VC on turn 2 or throw it turn 3 and people don't seem to know what to do against it. Using the hero power and a power word shield I've had it last until very late game, pumping out a 2/1 just about every turn. I feel like other than the twilight whelp a dragon priest doesn't have a lot of good options until turns 3/4/5 and this has seem to fill that gap for me. Has this just been working for me b/c I'm playing in the rat leagues so far this month or have other people picked up on this?

You can combo it once per turn or you'll kill your own tokens

Not amazingly. Your whelps can die by Pyromancer too. Buffing the egg is the best option if you choose to run egg at all
