Recently they've been more sneaky, and what they do is they set a delay so that even with optimal internet it takes an ad a moment to pop up, after everyone else is in... so you'll start doing stuff on the page and then wham massive oversized ad appears, you accidentally click it, and all of a sudden you have a totally trustworthy new browser that only wants to control your computer and steal all your info.
