<Melankolia> is a new (founded 02/2015) fully Finnish guild on Emerald Dream (connected with Terenas).
We're a social guild, raiding two times per week, with focus on having fun while providing a stress-free experience for our members.
Raid times are Thursday & Sunday @ 20-23 (Finnish time).

ALL classes/specs are welcome, but if you have several to choose from, our raid team could especially use following reinforcements:
Death Knight (dps)
Monk (dps)
Rogue
Shaman (healer)
Warrior (dps)
We'd like to consider ourselves as an "easy to approach" guild.
You don't need to have tons of raiding experience to raid with us for example; everyone's allowed to join on all guild activities (flex raids). We also aim at providing a "safe" environment in which you won't get yelled at if you happen to make mistakes and you're free to try & learn new roles/play styles without stressing about it! There’s no minimum attendance requirements either and you won’t be penalized for missing raids, so shift workers or people with otherwise irregular play times are more than welcome to join!
Besides raids we also often arrange events for Heroic Dungeons, Challenge Modes, old raids for achievements/mounts and even leveling alts in guild groups!
You’re also allowed to have characters in other guilds too if you feel like it. You’re free to join us with your alt for example to get your fix of Finnish! We don’t have limits on alts either, so you’re also free to bring all of your characters over if you so wish! We only ask that those interested in raiding with us would choose one main character to raid with and which to focus on gearing.
We provide:
Mature environment; all applicants should be 18+ years of age.
Stress free raids; no shouting, pointing fingers or any sort of abuse. With us you’re free to try and learn new classes/specs in a safe environment where you don’t have to be afraid of making mistakes.
Friendly guild mates; we’re willing to help old and new players alike with their questions, quests, gearing or other adventures.
Social experience; although we Finns aren’t exactly known for our social skills, we’re attempting our very best to provide an active guild chat (& forums) which goes beyond just greetings. There’s been some lively conversations already when more of us are online & the guild is steadily growing. Don’t be shy, jump in!

Mumble VoIP server; free to use outside of raids also! During raids we expect everyone to be able to at least listen; speaking is not mandatory.
Flasks, potions, food & enchants for members attending our raids.

Raids and all guild activities in general are rolling smoothly. The atmosphere within the guild is brilliant, something you don't come across too often these days! Join us and experience it for yourself!

We've made progress in both Highmaul (H) and Blackrock Foundry (N) since the last update a week ago!
People are enjoying the guild life here, events are going up outside of raids also and everything in general is running very smoothly!
We've had people migrate to Emerald Dream from all over just to join our guild; are You next?

We're aiming to finally start with HFC at the end of this week while still doing BRF (H) on the side for a while before fully committing to running only HFC.
Outside of raid stuff we've recently created a bar simulator on our Mumble server by adding "jukebox" functionality (music on the background of a chit-chat channel). Takes playing the game with guildies while drunk to whole new levels...
