    Advice on possible gpu upgrade?

    Hi all,

Looking to buy a new graphics card but don't have much of a budget at the moment. Probably around £65-£70. The aim is probably to be able to run wow at a smooth fps on good/high settings? After a bit of looking around saw something like https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/zot...ard-zt7111320l or https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evg...rd-01gp33731kr but i'm not sure what i'll be getting. Do you think my target would be achievable with these parts? If not could anyone recommend any GPU's in my budget or so.
    My current specs are: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 Cpu, 860 @ 2.80Ghz
    Mem: 5.96GB RAM
and my current resolution is 1920x1080 at 60.

    Cheers!

Neither of those GPUs are meant for gaming. They are more then enough for a media PC but not for gaming at all. The minimum I would recommend for gaming would be the GTX 750ti or an AMD 270x. Both of those are out of your price range though, and that's the absolute minimum. Preferably a GTX960, but that's getting even further out of your price range. Your best bet at this point would be to save up.

Your other option is to look at the used market. Not something I would personally do, but you can find some good deals if you look. Let us know what you find so we can tell you if it's a good deal or not.

Also, for WoW, the CPU is more important than the GPU and your CPU is getting a little dated as well. It should be ok-ish, but not sure about running on high.

You should try to save abit more and get something that does the job. Buying something that doesn't is not a good solution. I see an msi gtx750ti for under 100 you should try save for it.

Yep. What they said. Save more and buy something worthwhile. What you linked isn't at all.
