Bridged modem to wireless router bandwidth control

Hi guys simple question. I currently have a bridged modem/router (acting solely as modem) in my hall which is connected to a wireless router in my room.

I have ppoe / wifi / ip allocation setup on the wireless router in my room via ethernet from bridged modem to router's WAN port.

Question is, will bandwidth control work as everything is set and run from the wireless router ?

If your wireless router has bandwidth control, then sure. In your setup the modem does nothing but translate the signal. The wireless router is the single gateway that you can throttle as you see fit, provided the router has those abilities.
