Releasedate for new raid Hellfire Citadel?

I'm agreeing with 23rd June. Seems most likely, with quarterly report padding and same-day release to compete with FFXIV.

So you think they are going to have the patch up in the background downloader for over a full month before release? For comparison, 6.1 went on the background downloader 2/20 and went live 2/24. This is a bigger patch, for sure, with more to test first, but an extra 3.5 weeks?

It's not impossible, but that seems like an awfully long time given the new information today.

Not agreeing with a date, but a month isn't too far out. We'll get two weeks notice for the season ending, which isn't today - so we have a week until then, plus those two weeks, i.e. at least 3 weeks from now before the patch comes out. That's only 1 week off of a month.

9th at a minimum, either way, and 23d latest due to quarterly report.

Considering how fast raid testing has gone so far I would say that 2nd or 9th of June are actually more likely now than the 23rd.

The PTR has been unusually buggy this time around. Naval mission structure is a mess and they really need to fix things (waiting to see tonight's patch maybe they read some suggestions).
There are some significant scaling bugs in timewalking WotLK dungeons (resolve is not scaled down for some reason)
and even outside those bugs, they need to scale us further down cause right now the dungeons are too damn easy (easier than it was running them for valor in 3.4...)
So yes as things are now, expect it to take a while for this patch to be stable enough for release. June 23 is imo the earliest date for it.

Raid testing is done but they just added a lot of stuff to Tanaan. Lots of bug fixes to do 16 or 23 are the likely dates.

That's the 8 week mark. And many high end pvp streamers seem to agree on 6/23. It's pretty safe.

Any date during the summer sucks as a raiding guild, so yea, gg.

16th isn't happening anymore imo, final build isn't on the PTR. 23rd is a safe bet though. 30th is too far off.

They still didn't release the class balancing build on the PTR and the notice for arena season ending.

Many people said June 23 to counter Final Fantasy's xpac release, which would make sense.. plus it's the beginning of summer.

Normal mode for Hellfire Citadel haven't been tested yet, so give it few more weeks at least.
