He's been in politics since 1979. He's been pretty consistent in his views over that period. Why anyone thinks he's a "bait and switch" candidate is beyond me.

He has essentially 0% chance of winning the nomination regardless of what you think about him and his politics.

He's 100% legit. If there was any chance that the mainstream would get him on the ticket, or even better, actually elected, I'd vote for him in a second. But he's too logical and straight forward for most party leaders to get behind.

If it's anything like the '08 primaries, if Sanders starts to get traction, he'll be uninvited to the Dem. primary debates just like Kucinich and Gravel were after the first few.

The corporate Democratic machine does not want anyone outside of their control mechanism, anymore than the Repubs do. Clinton is the establishment horse, and they'll make damned sure it's her against whatever clone the Repubs put up.

You should vote for him in the primary if he's your candidate, even if you think he has no chance. At the very least it's a protest vote.

Are you seriously going to sit there and try to argue that the Democratic party is not going to try and push for a diversity candidate? Diversity is like 50% of the their talking points, with the other 50% being class warfare.

If you mean by applying a higher tax on those who can afford it best to fund things we need (Education, infrastructure, and the like) and ensuring the social safety net is able to help people who need it. All the while trying to bolster the middle class which in turns helps the economy.
