You can tell body fat content from face if perspective not cheated and too much makeup.

That's not always the case, I have a friend who only does facial shots, nobody can tell she's quite overweight. Then there are also people with quite a round face, but a skinny body.

I have no idea what that is, but I've seen pictures from pretty much all angles, still looks the same. She has very little fat in her face, and you can see a proper jawbone. I've seen skinnier people with a rounder face than hers. Though nobody online knows it, but I know her IRL.

There are so many examples on /r/fatpeoplehate but I just searched Catfished quickly on the subreddit to grab some quick ones. I don't tend to remember what the titles are. The first one is pretty bad but there are some truly shocking ones, the 2 I posted are tame.

Thanks, but no worries. I got myself out of the situation years ago and am much better off. The only thing I have left are the scars, and 90% of them are on my back, so I don't even see them. And even when people bring them up or make weird faces when they see them, it doesn't bother me. It just reminds me that I am better now than I ever was.

It's funny, ideals went from curvy (not fat) to super skinny and are now slowly going back to curvy. The ideal is always what is currently not the norm.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think the 'ideal' is largely subjective and It relies mainly on your very first crush/love. The sort of crush that has you wanting to /wrist if they would leave you. For me her name was Aseel and she had me forever fond of big boned girls... Not overweight, but simply bigger than me. For some unlucky sods, this ideal manifests itself on the computer screen in the form of a pornstar or something.
