So tired of leveling alts in WOD - suggestions?

    So I have 4 level 100s and 3 more 90s to go.

    any suggestions?

I am so tired of the quests

Dungeons give so little XP this expansion it makes me sad. That used to be my go-to leveling mechanism

While everyone says they love questing in WoD, I find the opposite for me. :/

I just bought the exp potions from the garrison, every heirloom, and got over with it as fast and painless as I could. Had fun questing on my alts only in Nagrand (probably because of the mounts and knowing I had only 1-2 levels to go).

It also really helps if you can persuade a friend to level an alt with you.

Just get heirlooms and potion and rock it out in less then 8 hours.

Level them with missions and mining or herbing only or pet battles or archeology. None of those are truly fast (pet battles is okayish), but they do take the grind out of leveling.

    Stop leveling alts?

That's a great idea if Stupid Blizz didn't lock Tanaan Jungle to only max level characters

Can't build the shipyard or get to Tanaan without being level 100

Dont you think that your chars you already play are enough? Who actually forces you to play even more chars?

Personally I just play other games because I'd rather do anything else than level alts for the shit of it.

Questing was really fun the first time, and slightly less fun the second time but still OK because I took the alternate buildings. Third time though? No thank you, there's just not the replayability there.

I've been playing monster hunter 4 ultimate for the last month+ and I just downloaded tera last night to derp around with because its free and fuckit why not.

Stop repeatedly playing the same fucking game over and over? Ofc its gonna become boring.

Even the most amazing form of entertainment becomes stale if you keep repeating over and over. And WoD is definitely not amazing.

Unlike the gaming disaster year of 2014, so many amazing games have been released recently: GTA V on PC, Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity... Each of those will give keep you entertained for weeks.

Seriously. It takes about five hours if you have the XP pots from the garrison and full looms. A couple days of letting resources pile up while you level another alt will give you more than enough resources for five pots, they're 100 resources each.

Do the zones up till you can enter a new one, focusing on the bonus events and make sure you pick up any treasures or kill any rares you find along the way. It's really ridiculously quick and easy.

I got 5 leveled up then when I tried to level up my horde characters I just couldn't do it. WoD leveling is so freaking boring and linear that I just lost all motivation.

Tired of WoD? It is easiest part of whole leveling.

    1) Get all heirlooms with XP bonus, get level 91 ilvl630/640 3 items (weapon + 2 slots).
    2) Do not do any 5-mans, they give crap XP and have no quests, besides you probably did billion 5 mans up to 90.
    3) Install handy notes (http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/hand...aenortreasures) and pick up treasures on way, and when leaving zone try to pick up most of them.
    4) When questing remember to take most followers from short quests (http://www.wowhead.com/guides/garris...orde-followers).
    5) Use garrison XP potion, its cheap and its 20% extra.
    6) Do most bonus objectives, they often give loads of XP for no work at all.

    Now how it works:
    1) Do frostfire quests up to sacking fortress (for chests inside after), grab treasures, followers, bonus objectives from rest of zone and you should be 92 in no time.
    2) Go to grongord, get arena (reload UI to see arena "chests"), do top part (gladiator + rexxar quest lines), bonus objectives, do bottom bonus objectives, treasures and followers of course too.
    3) Do terrokar chests, followers and quest line for schematics until 96 (you probably will hit it faster).
    4) At 96 go to spires, do quests until axefall/southport. Build 20% XP building and stay in arrak until 100 and enjoy fast levels.

Rotate them on rested exp. buy one of those exp garrision potions, wait till you have rested exp max. Grab Handy notes addon and go grab treasures around WoD, you will be amaze how much exp you get from that.

I hate players that suck at WoW, But I also hate wanna be elitist who barely down normal raid and said that the game is too easy...... yea show me you mythic achivement before you say its too easy otherwise move along scum, because I heard wildstar need you.

Levelling the first time was fine. After that the only good thing about it was/is that it doesn't take very long to get through compared to MoP.

XP Pot (not even the new ones coming out in 6.2), Hierlooms & Full Rested XP (rotate your toons).

Download Handy Notes with Treasures as they are massive amounts of XP.

Without Heirlooms I was doing a level in about 45 mins.

Why do you want 7 shipyards if your already burnt out?

Is it not better to focus on one or two toons and I don't know maybe play something else or do something else instead of burning out on WoW?

Even if I agree that WoD is boring, leveling was never so simple.

And as you look like to level for your garrison. Rushing every followers of every zone alone will get you outleveling the zone. And since you have multiple alts, it's even easier to always be in rested XP (+XP potion obviously as all alts should be garrison ressource capped).

I first rushed XP with my 3 first alts (treasure + bonus quests). Then saw that it was counter productive to have be lv100 with less than 10 followers. Simply rush followers quests. You'll need maybe one more hour total to reach 100 but have an allready full garrison (and they may all be 100 depending on how often you play your alts).

See how that works? God forbid people enjoy this game in different ways.

OP, I feel ya. I've done 2, have about 3 around 95, and still have 6 at 90. I mostly get through it by changing how long I stick it out through one zone. Sometimes I'll move onto Gorgorond before finishing SMV, or move onto Spires before finishing even half of Talador. Or sometimes I'll get to Talador and complete the entire zone before skipping Spires and going to Nagrand.

The problem is, so much of this expansion is tied into unlocking things via questing that they really don't give you any other options. Dungeon grinding is worthless, and so is world grinding. The exp per mob this expansion is terrible.

I leveled 2 warriors, 1 warlock, 1 hunter, 1 paladin, 1 monk, 1 druid and 1 rogue to 100. I did most of my leveling with heirlooms and the potion. It was an ok experience but not as fun as past expansions. Once I got them to 100, I was bored as hell with the dungeon and lfr grind for better gear. Improved my garrisons. Have hardly logged in since. What is more fun is leveling toons from level 1 on a new server. The old content is a lot more fun to play. Only problem is that its too easy with heirlooms.

Just in case you do check this thread.

The shipyards seem to be the way to go for best gear, most gold etc. Everything seems to be moving that direction and getting to Tanaan seems to be the thing to do.

Ideally I want enough gold to never pay a sub fee again, so getting the characters to max level seems to be the way to go.

My biggest complaints are already explained in this thread.

I love running dungeons while leveling and I can't stand repeating quests on more than one character but for some reason Blizz forced the zones and questing on everying this expansion making it the preferred path.

got 5 toons now with all full 660 pvp all rep based as well... and i am tired.. just tired.. I don't know what to do.. only thing that still keeps me is transmog and duels... and maybe random bg's..

I would like more fully fletched out side stories with idk maybe bonus rewards were you would unlock new options customation for your character.. I feel so limited.. so why didn't they add new cool minor glyphs? I HAVE SO MANY MINOR GLYPHS IDEAS WHY CANT THEY?
