    Computer freezes shortly after boot

Hi, I am going insane here. My PC freezes up relatively fast after I boot. It boots just fine, but when I get to desktop it'll freeze up completely.

Here's what I have tried so far:

Memtest on RAM-sticks - didn't show fail. Also tried each stick on its own (in different slots)
    Updated drivers
Temps seemed fine (CPU around 35-40 on idle)
Tried running without GPU and just run onboard This happened, as well as the freezing: http://imgur.com/bpLDnNP
Ran every HDD/SSD on its own
Format and install Windows from scratch on all 3 drives.

I have not yet had the opportunity to try another PSU unfortunately.

Could this be the CPU failing or maybe the MOBO being dysfunctional?

    Specs:
    CPU: i5 4670k 3.4 GhZ
    Mobo: Gigabyte Z87-HD3
    G.Skill Sniper 2x4GB DDR3 1866 mhz
    SSD 1: Crucial M500 128GB
    SSD 2: Crucial BX 100 250GB
    PSU: Corsair C550M
    GPU: ASUS VGA PCIe 2048MB GF-GTX760 DC2OC

    Many thanks in advance.

I would check the seating of the processor. Diagnosing a mobo issue is tough at times. Does it spit any error codes out from a bluescreen? You may have to get a dump file after the crash so we can see what's happening right before it crashes.
I had a cool sig... then photobucket ate my pics and now its borked. :/ oh wells...

See if it can start in safe mode or not.

I'll be able to check the seating off the processor as soon as I can.

Nope, no bluescreens as of yet.

Still crashes in safe mode. :/

Maybe not super helpful, but I'm leaning towards CPU/Motherboard/PSU being the culprit.

I had a similar issue with an old 2600K.

Is there anyway to determine which part it is? Would hate buying parts i wouldn't "need" - Budget is tight as it is.
I can probably get my hands on a PSU and test though.

    All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Reset the BIOS? Pull out the battery.

Okay, checked the CPU, it was seated just fine. Also, tried resetting BIOS and update it as well, still no dice.

Ram is on xmp profile @Bios? What speeds does it run? The ram sticks are on 1st and 3rd slot (grey ones)? Have you tried flashing the mobo to a newer version?
