    Best monitor for the buck

I am currently looking for a new monitor to go along with my new system. Not sure what's new and best out there right now since it's been 2 years since I purchased a monitor.

The Dell U2414H fits in your budget. A little expensive compared to other 1080p monitors but worth it imo. You can usually it find it cheaper in the 230-240$ area but not atm aparently.

With the Dell U2414H you also get the added HDMI connection should you want or need it at some point.

As for the U2412M you can pick it up for $199.99 at Bestbuy with free shipping

I'm just gonna mention for an extra $5 you can pick up a 25", 2560x1440 with HDMI, DP, DVI:

    Acer G257HU $279.99

    First impression (Reddit)

This is assuming you have the hardware to support the higher resolution.

Then you're better off with 1080p.
