    Black screen glitch

    hello

recently got new gpu gtx 970 strix , apart from it making shit tons of noise when fans turn on and temps even with side panel open being 50ish on idle... been having this glitch when playing WoW. All of sudden my screen goes black for a sec and then back to normal but most of icons (spells) are blacked out or colour mashed together like effect. Not sure what is causing this , i am using HDMI cable as dont have DVI cable right now. Any suggestion would be great to see whats causing this ,

    thanks

This sounds like a driver crash.

By any chance got Firefox open with anything Flash? - Try uninstalling your drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstall it freshly.

Also STRIX is normally extremely silent even when fans DO turn on, if it makes a lot of noise you may have other issues.

    ok will reinstall drivers .

i have Strix OC and maybe its my gpu but it gets extremely hot (50° idle) and 68° when playing games ... and Fans make very loud noise , i can hear them through my headset . its like a vacuum cleaner turning on ... so idk what it is , i am keeping my side panel open to let as much air flow in as possible. and i dont even live in warm place .

one other weird thing is my gpu never goes above 68° , running benchmark , playing games or whatever i do its at max 99% usage and never going above 68° like something is capping it there :s
