Is it sexist? No. Its your seat give it to whomever. Its a nice gesture. One kind women on the subway gave her seat to me because I was clearly uncomfortable standing in my pumps.
If someone looks uncomfortable standing and your able body then give them your seat.

Gender has nothing to do with it, I find people who give away seats solely based on gender to be extremely cringeworthy. I will give it to a pregnant woman, and to anyone who obviously have a more difficult time standing than I do like small children, old people and people who have an obvious disability. And no, being fat is not a disability.

I give up my seat only to the elderly who need it, and third trimester pregnant women (you can tell generally as they are fucking huge).
Otherwise you can stand like the rest of the cattle. I'm lucky enough to be on the starting station of my tube line so the seat is mine

Women seem to expect it so I don't even bother anymore so if anything I'm less likely to give a seat to a woman that isn't elderly.

I only give my seat to the elderly, only. Kids, they should not be sitting around. People who are same age as me, its "finders keepers", dont care if its a man or woman, I expect the same treatment as well.
