Sort of. He was in the agency with Ian Flemming that was the inspiration for the bond character. They were called "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" AKA the most badass anything ever. Seriously, check them out they were SO COOL that a movie about them would seem too crazy to be real .

One of my favourite pieces of LoTR behind the scenes trivia... In the scene where Saruman gets stabbed in the back by Wormtongue orginally Peter had it in the script that he should scream in pain. Christopher took one look at the script, called Peter off to one side and simply said "That's not the noise a man makes, when stabbed in the back". Probably a little unwisely, Peter decided to ask "How exactly do you know the sound a man makes when stabbed in the back" Christopher replied "Because I do."

Also, we all need to remember, what while most 90yos are tucked up in bed, maybe having a medicinal whiskey or two and talking about their grandkids, Christopher Lee was recording an album that is METAL AS FUCK.

Man, what a shame. I always thought this guy was so freaking cool. Really sad to hear this. =(

At least he got a long, eventful life.

I loved that story when I watched the behind the scenes for the Return of the King. This guy surely was an interesting fellow even outside of his acting career.

They're only the best actors once they've passed away.

Gotta disagree. A lot of good actors who are still alive. And, while Paul Walker's passing was sad, anyone who says he was a great actor is just wrong.

Fast & Furious movies are really big, that's why. It was sad and the irony of how he died couldn't be lost on anyone.

And 93 is very old. Average life expectancy is at best low 70's I think?
