Speak for yourself. I find babies to be very unpleasant. When someone asks if I want to hold a baby I politely say "no", but actually think "there is nothing I would dislike more than holding your disgusting, vomiting, shitting, screaming sex trophy".

babies are considered asexual for that matter... they're are THE symbol of innocence. Untainted, not manipulated, raw gems more worth it than any diamond ever could be.
And that's how pretty much everyone sees them.

Now one could argue about protecting babies against pedophiles.... And that would be an argument..
Yet, the statistics show how sex crimes against minors, or even in general, are overwhelmingly committed by someone who is known, or even related to the victim. And that predates social networks like Facebook.

Anyway, I think there should be a system in place on facebook where certain pics receive certain tags, or can be tagged by the poster, and you should have the ability to ban anything with a certain tag that you don't want to see in your feed. Seems like it would solve some problems. Things like simple selfies or scenic vistas and other innocuous things should be tagless.

Naked pictures of kids - nobody wants to see that shit in the first place

I remember a time in the 90s and 00s when you couldn't go thru a full commercial break without seeing some random baby's ass. I'd just start yelling at the TV "WHERE'S ALL THE HOT WOMAN ASSES, GODDAMMIT?!" The fact that that was a thing, that diaper companies were actually trying to out-baby-ass each other, is still a head-scratcher for me to this day.
